A collage of field recordings made in Amsterdam in March 2005 with a microphone clipped to my shirt connected to a minidisc recorder in my back pocket. The 'Dam's a pretty wonderful sounding place with all the tall thin buildings and canalways. Yes I did pull a whitey at one point. The berimbau you hear I actually bought from one of the capoeira guys and features heavily on some later albums. Weird looks as I carried this bow-like object aboard the plane, where it flew back to blighty in the pilots's cabin, too long to fit anywhere else. My friend Micah and I listened to this one night a few months ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, maybe you will too.
