about

In 2004 I thought it might help my decision-making process to collect my unused off-cuts and unfollowed ideas and compile them largely in order as I discarded them. Switching over to recording on a computer gave me more options than I could handle, and I think I work best with a limited pallet. These days they obviously call this 'option fatigue’, but it was also good to try a lot of things out.

If this is the first thing you're hearing of mine, might be an idea to check out something more traditionally cohesive like 'Flash Cornet and the Children of the Sun' first. Personally I love a collage, but you've been warned. Enjoy.

Recorded by Matt in our lounge high amongst the trees in Teddington, Middlesex
